About Lumen Lab

Design-oriented photometric planning with shared IES workflow — interior and exterior modes, 3D previews, and optional catalog fixtures.

Contact (optional — included in report when provided):

No IES loaded.

Interior Inputs

Ceiling layout uses the lumen method and a symmetric ceiling grid. Wall-mounted layout spaces fixtures along room walls at the height you specify.

Interior Results

Lumen method + symmetric grid assumption (good for budgeting; verify critical tasks separately).

Distribution Metrics

Polar candela distribution

Classic gamma-angle polar plot from the loaded IES file (C-plane, symmetric · 0° = nadir, 180° = zenith).

Isolux diagram

Estimated workplane illuminance from the current layout (run Calculate Interior first). Contour lines show isolux levels.

Exterior Inputs

Pole layout uses a symmetric grid inside the site setback. Perimeter layout sizes wall packs from IES throw at grade (when loaded), strip flux along walls, and worst-point wall lux — higher mount height tightens spacing.
